"Now go, and do as I have told you. I will help you speak well, and I will tell you what to say."
Exodus 4:12 (NLT)
Let's Pray:
Lord, I pray that you would help (_____) speak well, and tell him what to say today. Lord, as he speaks to his coworkers; give him wise words. I pray you will give him encouraging words when he is speaking to our kids. I ask you to keep him from tearing them down with his words; but instead build them up with what he says to them. I pray you will make his words effective and persuasive at work when necessary. Thank you Lord. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
Wives,
In the Bible it says with our mouths we can build up and tear down in the same sentence. -my paraphrase, of course. Our words have such an amazing power to encourage others whether through speaking or through writing.
Today try speaking positive encouraging words to your family and friends 2X as often as saying something negative. So that means if you say something negative to your kids this morning or after school. you have to find two positive things to say before another negative thing comes out of your mouth. GET IT?
Some of us may be extra quiet today.
-Kristy
