Lord, thank you for giving us your truth in the Bible! I pray this morning for (_____) that he will continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. I pray he will not drift away from the assurance he received when he heard the Good News. The Good News that was preached all over the world. Lord, I pray you will clear (_____'s) mind of any lies he's been listening to. Create in both of us a desire to grow closer to you through reading your word and praying together. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Do you ever feel the urge to push your husband to do something, like I have done so many times?
DON'T!
Husbands have the natural desire to lead and if we are always jumping ahead of them we are short circuiting that desire. I am learning, slowly, that when I feel that urge, to redirect it to God instead. And, if its God's will, He is more than capable of placing the desire in my husband's heart. I have discovered that God doesn't need my help as much as I once thought. : )
